Flour Water Salt is a renowned artisan bakery, which has grown over the years into a thriving local business – as well as our bakery depot, we have a retail shop and café and supply a range of wholesale customers.
We need more help in our baking team and are looking for full time bakers.
If you have experience, great! We want to hear from you. If you don’t have experience but you’d like to get involved then please don’t let this put you off. Enthusiasm and attention to detail is what we’re looking for – we believe we can teach you the rest.
We are offering full-time positions and your salary is based on 40 hours per week. Weekday shifts start at 3-4am, with earlier starts at the weekend. It’s not for everyone but for some, it’s a rewarding and fulfilling vocation.
As a baker at Flour Water Salt your duties will include:
- Scaling and shaping
- Oven work
- Planning for markets and seasonal specials
- Ordering stock
- Product development (in collaboration with the rest of the team)
- Keeping up to date with cleaning and hygiene schedules
- Communicating effectively with other staff to ensure the smooth running of the bakery
Around 40 hours/week, including Saturdays and some Sundays.
Salary dependent on experience.
